Stanton County Varsity Trojans Vanquish Ness City in High-Scoring Affair in First Game of the Evening Double Header
Coach Gary Kendrick’s comments of the evening. “Couldn’t ask for better start to a season. We overcame some mistakes which we will fix as the season goes on. The girls played with great energy and passion. I have high expectations for the year. “
Senior Halley Waldron added, “It was a great start to the season and definitely a memorable first game of the season! Everyone had so much fun and played their hearts out. I don’t think the game would’ve gone the way it did if we didn’t have the energy we had. We made it our game from the beginning with all of our fun cheers and encouraging each other. Every play was another cheer or just everyone communicating! I believe this game was a reflection of what the rest of the season is going to be like and I’m so excited!”
