Genesis offers services for health, food, clothing and utilities. These services are based on a sliding fee discount for patients who qualify by income level and family size. For more information about services that may be provided to you, a representive is available to answer questions and help fill out the application at the Methodist Church every Tuesday from 9:00am to 11:00am. Healthy Steps is an innovative, team-based approach to health care for young children. Healthy Steps Specialists monitor child health and development, promote good health practices, and respond to mothers’ and fathers’ concerns about their developing infants and toddlers from prenatal up to three years of age. |The Learn and Play Program is an early childhood program through Russell Child Development. It uses evidence-based curriculum as part of the program and includes early screening for possible developmental delays. Attendance is free and the groups are open to anyone in the community with children from birth to age 5 years old. Click here for more information.|
|Triple P Positive Parenting Program provides classes and in-home coaching available at no cost for parents of children birth to all ages. There are evening classes in Ulysses available to parents of Stanton County with child care provided free of charge. Click here for more information.|
Story time is on Mondays at 10:00am for 2-3 yr olds and 2:00pm for 4-5 year olds. This is year round from August to May. For more information, you can contact the Library at (620) 492-2302.
|The Storehouse is a community food bank that provides free food to those families in need so that they will not go hungry. It is open Tuesdays 10am to 2pm, Thursdays 2pm to 7pm and Saturdays 10am to 12pm up to 4pm.|
|The O’Brate Foundation will strive to improve the opportunities for disadvantaged youth in Kansas by assisting with emergency needs, providing educational scholarships to deserving youth, and addressing specific stumbling blocks lying in their path on the road to success.
