2nd Grade
I graduated from Stanton County High School in 1984. I then attended Sterling College on a basketball scholarship. After getting married, I transfered to Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1989.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Panhandle State University. I then received my ESL endorsement and Masters Degree in Curriculum alignment from Newman University.
After graduating from Panhandle State in 1989, I was asked to cover a long term sub at Big Bow Elementary. The following year the job turned into a full time position and that began my career. I began in a 1st and 2nd grade combination classroom. I taught for 10 years at Big Bow and then transferred to Stanton County Elementary in Johnson and I am currently teaching 2nd grade.
I married Bret Kendrick in 1985. We have 3 boys, Brock, Trent, and Quinn. Brock has graduated from Panhandle State University and is currently employed with RCIS. Trent lives in Los Angeles, California and graduated from USC with a degree in Film. Quinn is currently attending Fort Hays State University and is working on a degree in Political Science.
