Hi everyone!

My name is Fiona Higley, and I’m so excited to be a member of SCES as the Title One teacher.

Before teaching in the US, I had worked as a Sales and Marketing Director at an international school for 9 years in China. There, I got opportunities to work with educators from all over the world. After moving to the United States with my family, I worked as a teller at a local bank for a year in a small town in north Kansas. However, I know education has always been the passion of my life. I was hired as a secondary special ed paraprofessional at Greeley County High school and worked there for three years. Last year, I had my own classroom at Elkhart Middle school working as the middle school interrelated teacher. It was my first year teaching and I‘ve learned so much!
