Stanton County Varsity Trojans easily dispatched Holcomb on Tuesday, 18-0.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans got on the board in the top of the first inning after Valeria Ortega homered to left field, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, an error scored one run, Allison Miravete singled, scoring one run, Karlee Nairn singled, scoring one run, and Ortega drew a walk, scoring one run.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Mia Miravete singled down the left field line, Holcomb committed an error, Nairn singled down the left field line, and Ortega singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Six more Stanton County Varsity Trojans runs crossed the plate in the third inning to extend the lead to 18-0. Jerzey Ochoa singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, and Kynzi Fehringer homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Sidney Parks earned the win for Stanton County Varsity Trojans. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking none. Fehringer threw two innings of zero-run ball for Stanton County Varsity Trojans in relief. The hurler gave up zero hits, striking out four and walking two.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans collected 15 hits in the game. Kaydence McCleary had 2 doubles and went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Stanton County Varsity Trojans in hits. Fehringer, Nairn, Miravete, McCleary, and Ortega each drove in two runs for Stanton County Varsity Trojans. Stanton County Varsity Trojans had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Fehringer and Parks led the team with two walks each. Stanton County Varsity Trojans ran wild on the base paths, tallying seven stolen bases for the game. Kaydence McCleary, Summer Kendrick, Marely Chavez, Kynzi Fehringer, Allison Miravete, Miah Miravete and Sidney Parks with one each.  Stanton County Varsity Trojans didn't commit a single error in the field. Ortega had the most chances in the field with six.  Kaydence McCleary had 2 and Alison Miravete 1.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans won big over Holcomb 17-0 on Tuesday.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans got on the board in the top of the first inning after a passed ball scored one run, Kaydence McCleary doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Summer Kendrick was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Valeria Ortega singled, scoring two runs.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Ella Krier singled to center field, Allison Miravete grounded out, and Karlee Nairn doubled, each scoring one run.

Stanton County Varsity Trojans added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when McCleary doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Kendrick drew a walk, scoring one run.

Three more Stanton County Varsity Trojans runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 17-0. Kynzi Fehringer hit a solo home run to center field, Miravete drew a walk, scoring one run, and Nairn singled, scoring one run.

McCleary earned the win for Stanton County Varsity Trojans. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking one. #10 took the loss for Holcomb. The hurler went four innings, surrendering 17 runs (eight earned) on nine hits, striking out none and walking 10. Sidney Parks pitched one inning of scoreless ball for Stanton County Varsity Trojans in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out one and walking none.

McCleary provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Stanton County Varsity Trojans with three runs batted in. The pitcher went 2-for-4 on the day with 2 doubles. Fehringer, Nairn, and McCleary each collected two hits for Stanton County Varsity Trojans. Summer Kendrick, Ella Krier, Valerie Ortega with one hit each.  Mia Miravete paced Stanton County Varsity Trojans with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Parks (2) and Kendrick (3) stole multiple bases for Stanton County Varsity Trojans. Miah Miravete and Kynzi Fehringer one each. Stanton County Varsity Trojans ran wild on the base paths, collecting seven stolen bases for the game.  Stanton County Varsity Trojans were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
