Teaching Positions


USD #452, Stanton County Schools has possible openings for the following:
teaching/substitute positions:

Position 1:

USD #452 Stanton County is seeking a welding and industrial arts teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This position currently teaches woodworking, welding and CAD. Applicants qualified and interested to teach either content area are encouraged to apply. Coaching may be available but isn’t required.

 

Position 2: 

USD #452 Stanton County is seeking a science teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This position currently teaches Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry. The selected candidate will continue to teach Physical Science, Biology and a third upper level science course that could include but not limited to; Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry or Physics depending upon the candidate. Coaching may be available but isn’t required.

 



 

Certified Staff: 2018-2019 base salary is $38,650; with 5 years’ experience $40,550; Masters with -0- years’ experience $40,650. Benefits include paid time off days. District reimburses college hours and allows the user to advance on the pay scale. The district provides a one-time stipend of $1,000 for ESL endorsed, certified staff. The district provides single health insurance coverage.

Classified Positions


USD #452, Stanton County Schools has openings for the following classified positions:

 

PARA-PROFESSIONAL POSITION

 

USD #452, Stanton County Schools has openings for Para-Professional. 

Candidates must have the ability to communicate and work cooperatively with students, staff, and the ability to work without direct supervision.

Qualifications:  Bilingual preferred, High School diploma or GED, sixty college hours, or pass the Para-Pro test.  Benefits include KPERS retirement, participation in district health insurance and paid leave.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Applications available at the USD 452 District Office, or by calling 620-492-6226.  Position is open until filled.

 

High Plains Educational Coop Para

High Plains Educational Coop is looking for a part-time para for the afternoons.  Please pick up an application at the Ulysses office on 621 W. Oklahoma Avenue or go to www.hpec611.net to find the para application.  Position will be open until filled.
 

 

 

Substitute route bus drivers and Substitute activity bus drivers.

Driver must have the ability to work cooperatively with administration, parents, students, and the ability to work without direct supervision.   Qualifications:  CDL with S endorsement, Defensive Driving, CPR, and First Aid.  The school district will pay for these endorsements and requirements.
